Baixa da Barca (translated into English: Barca Seamount) is a fantastic and challenging dive, recommended to the more experienced, because of its strong currents. Here we can see countless species due to its vertiginous depths.
At 20mts, in the lowest depth, we can see, at some times of the year, schools of large pelagics such as Bicudas, Almaco jack, and Atlantic cutlassfish.
Navigating along the coast, we find corridors and landings from 30 to 50mts inhabited by the Dusky groupers, Forkbeard fish, Barred hogfish, Whiting and Scorpionfish.
