Back-rolling off an inflatable skiff, we descended and quickly spotted a rock formation with its highest point around 3 meters. Swimming closer to the formation I saw that the rocks were covered in marine flora. Algae that looked like little plants appeared like a field in the colors of green and dark purple. Within dozens of brightly colored ornate and rainbow wrasse swam around.
We went as deep as 28 meters and started swimming in a circle around the pinnacle while gradually getting shallower. A large shadow appeared in the rocks and we swam towards it. As we got closer, it was the entrance to the swim through and we went, one-by-one, through the hole, which took a turn and went up. Inside was a magnificent black coral bush and more fish. While exiting a dusky grouper appeared. We continued to circle until reaching the top, which was the perfect depth for a safety stop. We watched the fish around us until it was safe to surface.
