Barge "Maria Grécia" sank in 1985 when giving aid in the works of the new pontoon of the harbor.
Its very damaged and divided into 2 parts, so we have to be careful with the sharp edges to avoid injuries. In this spot we can see Octopuses, Seabreams, nudibranchs, sponges, corals and colored algae.
The Barge is laying in a sandy bottom just aside the pontoon. It is possible to cross the spaces between the cement blocks used to support and protect the pontoon and observe all the life that is hidden therel such as lobsters, crabs, forkbeards, etc.
