The dive site is at the south-westerly end of the Ilhéu de Cima with a maximum depth of 16mts over rocks and boulders and is therefore suitable for beginners. It is sometimes combined with the "Gruta", the grotto. Marine life right near the islet is abundant. Her we can see barracudas, breams, pipefish, etc
At mid-tide, the current can be strong.
