The coastal escarpment that constitutes Ponta de São Lourenço, extends below the surface, forming a rock wall with a very accentuated slope, that ends in an area of sand at 37 meters deep.
The dive starts with the descent to the sandy bottom, where we can observe rays and eagle rays. The ascent is made slowly along the wall full of black coral branches that give life to the rock bare of light tone, colour conferred by the cover of barnacles. We also can observe some giants anemones with their anemone shrimp, sponges and starfish which also give the rock a special colour.
Closer to the surface, we can observe schools of green fish, kingfish and chestnuts in search of food.
