Presumed seventeenth-century ship, which identity is still unknown. It was sunk in front of Faro and discovered by two Algarvian divers (José Augusto and Miguel Galvão) in 1996. After three archaeological campaigns, the site can now be visited.
This archaeological site is in the form of a nucleus with traces of the cargo (iron bars) and several cannons, also of iron, scattered over a fenced area of one hundred meters.
The place itself constitutes an artificial reef on which there is always a great school of Pout.
A mysterious spot to dive with a lot to discover!
