The name Pedra das Lagostas (translated from Portuguese "Lobsters Stone") is due to the fact that the landscape that is formed by rock platforms (like shelves) is a perfect place for the lobsters to hide. We can see their "antennas" popping from the shelves.
Soft corals, algae, anemones, and sponges are also seen here.
