The extensive rocky bottom area situated in front of Cascais Bay, extends to East and South with no defined limit. This rocky bottom located at depths in the order of 22 to 25mts is characterized by the existence of numerous "canyons" with 2 to 3mts of depth that cross each other, as well as rocky pinnacles.
Among other species, it is possible to find Lobsters, Seabreams and shoals of Pouts in the area, especially in the western limit of the rocky zone.
We need to be careful because there are many fishing ghost nets, as it is an area where fishing is allowed.
